2020 Brick Fundraiser

Help Beautify Glendora National Fields “Brick by Brick”

 

FACTS – 

 

  • Glendora National Little League (GNLL) is a non-profit organization.

  • GNLL operates at just above a “break-even” when you consider all the costs and expenses needed to run a league with approximately 300 kids.

    • Funding from the school district is limited to basic grass mowing and emergency repairs.  Getting the fields “baseball-ready” is the sole responsibility of GNLL.

 

Bottom line is we get literally ZERO financial or maintenance assistance from the School, District or City.  Any upkeep or enhancements to our fields or facilities come from donations and fundraising by the league and the countless volunteers.

 

The good news is we control our own destiny. We had tremendous success with recent fundraising efforts and were able to do the following:

 

  • Remodel the Snack Bar 

  • New backstops for the A, AA, and AAA fields

  • Upgrade some dugouts

  • Lighting for Major Field

  • Lighting for Batting Cages

  • Fix pitching machines for batting cages

  • Plus other smaller projects. 

 

In the next couple of years we are looking toward improving other items:

  • Upgrade or replace the aging bleachers (including shade)

  • Fix fencing all over the field

  • Plus countless others based upon the feedback from GNLL parents

 

We would like to continue selling the bricks as you see in front of the Snack Bar walkway. It is a great way to honor your player or your team or anybody you wish. The cost is $125 per brick.
